Jaelah is a modern elaboration of the biblical name Jael (Ya'el). In the Old Testament, Jael was a heroic figure known for her strength and bravery. The name is derived from the Hebrew word for the Nubian ibex, a type of mountain goat known for its ability to climb and ascend steep heights.
