Rainbow or messenger of the gods
Irais is a Spanish variant of the Greek name Iris. In Greek mythology, Iris was the personification of the rainbow and a messenger for the gods, linking the heavens to the earth. The name has seen use primarily in Spanish-speaking communities as a more unique alternative to Iris.
