Holding fast or steadfast
Derived from the Greek name Hektor, which comes from the word 'ekhein' meaning to hold or possess. In Greek mythology, Hektor was the greatest warrior of Troy, known for his nobility and courage during the Trojan War. This spelling is the more traditional Greek transliteration compared to the common English Hector.
