Good father
Aitor is a legendary figure in Basque mythology, often considered the patriarch or 'good father' of the Basque people. The name is derived from the Basque phrase 'aita onen seme', meaning 'son of good fathers'. It gained widespread popularity in the 19th century following its use in literature by Joseph-Augustin Chaho.
