One who remembers God
Derived from the Sanskrit elements 'Hari', a name for the Divine, and 'Simran', meaning remembrance or meditation. In the Sikh tradition, it refers to the spiritual practice of reflecting on God's name. It is a gender-neutral name common in the Punjabi-speaking community.
