Army ruler
Derived from the Old Norse name Haraldr, it is composed of the elements 'herr' meaning army and 'valdr' meaning ruler. It has been a traditional name for royalty in Scandinavia for centuries, particularly in Norway and Denmark. While common in Northern Europe, it remains a rare and distinctive choice in the United States.
