Leader, guide, or a gift
In Arabic, Hadiya (هادية) means 'leader' or 'guide,' derived from the root meaning to direct toward righteousness. A similar-sounding but distinct Arabic word, Hadya (هدية), means 'gift,' and the two meanings are often associated with the name in various cultures.
