Whole, universal, or soldier
Erminia is a feminine form of Erminio, derived from the Germanic name Ermin. It is often associated with the Latin 'Herminius', a Roman clan name, or linked to the Germanic root 'ermen' meaning whole or universal. In literature, it gained fame through Torquato Tasso's 16th-century epic poem 'Jerusalem Delivered'.
