Emanii is a modern creative spelling of Imani or Amani, rooted in Arabic and Swahili traditions. It signifies faith or belief, and is also closely linked to the Hebrew name Emmanuel, meaning 'God is with us'. The double-i ending is a contemporary American stylistic choice.
