Morning star or gift
Donika is an Albanian name often associated with the morning star or the concept of a gift. It gained historical significance through Donika Kastrioti, the wife of the Albanian national hero Skanderbeg. In some contexts, it is also viewed as a feminine diminutive of Anton or related to the Latin 'donatus'.
