In Arabic, Din (or Deen) refers to a way of life or religious path, often translated as 'faith' or 'law.' In Hebrew, it is a root word meaning 'judgment' or 'justice.' It is frequently found as a suffix in compound names like Aladdin or Nasiruddin.
