Man-destroyer or destroyer of her husband
Derived from the Greek name Deianeira, it is composed of elements meaning 'to destroy' and 'man' or 'husband'. In Greek mythology, Deianeira was the third wife of Heracles, known for unwittingly causing his death with a poisoned tunic.
