A variant of the name Christian, derived from the Latin 'Christianus'. It signifies a person who follows the teachings of Christ or belongs to the Christian faith. While historically more common in Spanish-speaking regions as a variant of Cristian, it is used in English as a rare, gender-neutral alternative.
