Haydan is a modern variant of the English surname Hayden. It derives from the Old English words 'heg' (hay) and 'denu' (valley), or 'hege' (hedge) and 'dun' (hill). While less common than its 'en' or 'on' counterparts, it retains a soft, natural appeal.
