Sea growth or pinkish-orange color
Derived from the Latin 'corallium', referring to the skeletal remains of marine polyps that form reefs. It gained popularity as a gemstone name in the late 19th century alongside other nature-inspired names. It also describes a distinct vibrant hue between pink and orange.
