Strong wolf or high hound
Derived from the Old Irish elements 'con' (meaning hound or wolf) and 'gal' (meaning valor or strength). In Irish mythology, it is a name associated with several legendary heroes and kings, most notably Conall Cernach of the Ulster Cycle.
