Derived from the Italian word for 'tail', Coda is a musical term referring to a passage that brings a piece to an end. In modern usage, it is also known as an acronym for 'Child of Deaf Adults', though as a given name, it is primarily chosen for its rhythmic, melodic sound and connection to the arts.
