Unintelligible speakers or people of a different language
Derived from the Dakota word 'shaiyena', it is a variant of Cheyenne, the name of an Algonquian people of the Great Plains. The name historically referred to those who spoke a language different from the Sioux. In modern usage, it is often chosen for its phonetic appeal and connection to the American West.

Chayenne isn't in the latest US Top 1000. It last peaked at #10,790 in 1998.
