Cazandra is a modern creative spelling of the Greek name Cassandra. In Greek mythology, Cassandra was a Trojan princess gifted with the power of prophecy but cursed never to be believed. The name is derived from the Greek elements 'kekasmai', meaning to excel or shine, and 'aner', meaning man.
