Shining upon man or prophetess
Derived from the Greek name Kassandra, it is most famously associated with the Trojan princess in Greek mythology who was cursed to speak true prophecies that no one believed. The etymology likely combines 'kekasmai' (to shine or excel) and 'aner' (man). While the double-S spelling is more common, this single-S version offers a streamlined, modern look.
