Brigido is the masculine Spanish and Portuguese form of the Irish name Brighid. It is derived from the Gaelic word 'brigh', which refers to power, strength, or virtue. Historically, it is associated with the Celtic goddess of fire and poetry, as well as Saint Brigid of Kildare.
