Bee-wolf (bear)
Derived from Old English elements 'beo' (bee) and 'wulf' (wolf), literally meaning 'bee-wolf,' which is a kenning or poetic metaphor for a bear. It is the name of the legendary hero of the eponymous Old English epic poem.
