Azyah is a modern phonetic variation of the Arabic name Asia or Asiya. In Islamic tradition, Asiya was the wife of the Pharaoh who cared for Moses, representing a woman of great faith and strength. It is also frequently used as a creative variation of the name Aaliyah.
