Aryannah is a modern phonetic elaboration of Arianna, which stems from the Greek name Ariadne. It is composed of the Greek elements 'ari', an intensive prefix meaning 'most', and 'adnos', meaning 'holy'. The double 'n' and 'h' ending are contemporary American stylistic additions.
