Arianah is a modern spelling variant of Ariadne or Ariana. It ultimately derives from the Greek elements 'ari', a superlative prefix, and 'adnos', meaning holy. In Greek mythology, Ariadne was the daughter of King Minos who helped Theseus escape the Labyrinth.
