Ray of light or sunbeam
Derived from Sanskrit, Anshu refers to a ray of light, a sunbeam, or a thread. It symbolizes the first light of dawn and carries connotations of brightness and hope. While traditionally used for both boys and girls in India, it is increasingly chosen for girls in the United States.
