Mother or little mother
In Sanskrit, Ambika is a title for the Mother Goddess, specifically associated with Parvati or Durga. It is derived from the word for mother and carries connotations of nurturing and divine power. In Hindu mythology, it is also the name of a princess in the Mahabharata.
