Defender of mankind
Alesandra is a variant of Alessandra, the Italian feminine form of Alexander. It is derived from the Greek name Alexandros, which combines 'alexein' (to defend) and 'aner' (man). While less common than the double-S spelling, it retains the same regal and strong etymological roots.
