Exalted, high, or sublime
Alayia is a modern variant of the Arabic name Aliyah or Alaya. It carries the connotation of being high-born, exalted, or reaching a sublime spiritual state. While its spelling is contemporary, its roots are deeply embedded in traditional Semitic linguistic patterns.
