Stone of help
Derived from the Hebrew name Eben-Ezer, it refers to a stone set up by the prophet Samuel to commemorate God's help to the Israelites. It symbolizes a physical monument of divine assistance and gratitude. While the 'Ebenezer' spelling is more common in English literature, this variant is frequently used in Ethiopia and Eritrea.
