Zuzu is primarily recognized as a diminutive of Susan, which is derived from the Hebrew name Shoshannah, meaning lily. It gained cultural prominence in the United States through the classic film 'It's a Wonderful Life'. In some African contexts, particularly Swahili, it can also mean 'sweet'.
