Dawn or morning star
Zoraya is a variant of the Slavic name Zora, which translates to 'dawn'. In Slavic mythology, the Zorya are guardian goddesses of the morning and evening stars. The name has also been used in Spanish-speaking cultures, likely influenced by the Arabic name Soraya.
