Youthful or soft-bearded
Yuli is a diminutive form of Yuliya, the Russian and Slavic variation of Julia. It ultimately derives from the Roman family name Julius, which is thought to refer to the downy beard of youth or being a 'descendant of Jove'. In some contexts, it is also used as a modern phonetic variation of the Basque name Juli.
