Gracious
Yannet is a rare variant of Janet or Yannick, ultimately derived from the Hebrew name Yochanan. It signifies the belief that God has been gracious or has shown favor. While uncommon in the United States, it is occasionally used in Spanish-speaking and Ethiopian communities as a distinctive alternative to more common forms of Jane.
