God has answered; or a variant of Ianeira
Yanira is a name with dual potential origins. In a Spanish-speaking context, it is often considered a modern variation of Jana or Yanina, derived from the Hebrew name Yochanan meaning 'God is gracious'. Alternatively, it may stem from the Greek name Ianeira, a figure in Greek mythology who was one of the Nereids or sea nymphs.
