Will-bright or spring from the stream
Derived from the Germanic elements 'wil' meaning desire or will and 'beraht' meaning bright. Alternatively, it is often associated with the Middle English words for a 'willow' and 'burn' (a stream or spring). It was most popular in the United States during the early 20th century.
