Lord, master, or tiller of the earth
Thelonious is a Latinized form of the Germanic name Tielo or Till. While its exact etymology is debated, it is often associated with the Greek word 'thelos' meaning will, or the Germanic 'til' meaning capable. It gained significant cultural recognition through jazz legend Thelonious Monk.
