Thadeo is a rare variant of Thaddeus, which is derived from the Greek name Thaddaios. It is ultimately rooted in the Aramaic word 'tadda', meaning heart or breast, or as a Greek form of the Hebrew name Theodore. It carries the connotation of being a courageous heart or a divine gift.
