From Thessaly
A Slavic diminutive of the name Teodosija, or more commonly associated with the surname of inventor Nikola Tesla. It ultimately refers to a person from the region of Thessaly in Greece. In modern contexts, it is often chosen to honor scientific innovation and electricity.
