From Tarquinii
A Roman clan name of Etruscan origin, most famously associated with the legendary kings of early Rome. It is derived from the ancient city of Tarquinii, which was named after the hero Tarchon. In modern times, it has become a distinctive choice in Britain, often associated with an upper-class or eccentric image.
