Palm tree
Tammy originated as a diminutive of Tamara, which is derived from the Hebrew name Tamar. In the Bible, the palm tree is a symbol of righteousness and fruitfulness. While it peaked in popularity during the 1960s and 1970s, it remains a recognizable mid-century classic.
