Date palm tree
A variant of the Hebrew name Tamara, which is derived from the word 'tamar' meaning date palm. In ancient cultures, the palm tree symbolized peace, fertility, and abundance. While the spelling with a double 'm' was a mid-20th century American variation, it retains its deep roots as a classic botanical name.
