Sun or little sun
Sujey is a modern Spanish-language variant of the name Suhey or Suheir. It is often associated with the Arabic name Suhayla, which refers to the star Canopus or translates to 'level' and 'gentle'. In Latin American usage, it is frequently interpreted as meaning 'sun' or 'little sun'.
