Scholar or scholar of the sky
A modern American invention, Skyelyn combines the nature-inspired word 'Sky' with the popular suffix '-lyn'. While 'Sky' derives from the Old Norse 'sky' meaning cloud, the '-lyn' suffix is often associated with the Welsh 'llyn' meaning lake or the English 'Lynn' meaning scholar.
