Possessor of wisdom
In Irish mythology, Sionna is the namesake of the River Shannon, the longest river in Ireland. She was a goddess and the granddaughter of Lir who sought out the Well of Wisdom, only to be swept away by its waters. The name is often associated with the pursuit of knowledge and the flowing nature of water.
