Of the forest
Derived from the Latin word 'silva', meaning wood or forest. In Roman mythology, Silvanus was the tutelary deity of woods and uncultivated lands, often associated with the protection of flocks and boundaries. It is a rare, more streamlined alternative to the popular Silas or the classic Sylvanus.
