Siani is a Welsh diminutive form of Jane, which ultimately derives from the Hebrew name Yochanan. It serves as a softer, more modern-sounding alternative to the traditional Welsh Siân. While rare in the United States, it carries a long history of use in Wales as a familiar and affectionate form.
