Gracious
Shonna is a modern phonetic variant of Shona, which is the Scottish Gaelic form of Joan. It ultimately derives from the Hebrew name Yochanan, meaning 'God is gracious'. While it gained some popularity in the mid-20th century, it remains a rare choice today.
