Character, conduct, or virtue
Derived from the Sanskrit word 'shila', it refers to good character, moral conduct, or disposition. In Hindu philosophy, it represents the practice of ethical behavior and is one of the foundational virtues. It is also sometimes used as an Indian variant of the Irish name Sheila, though the etymological roots are distinct.
