Flat plain or princess
The exact origin of Sharra is debated; it is often considered a variant of the Arabic name Sahara, referring to the desert or a flat plain. Alternatively, it is sometimes used as a modern elaboration of the Hebrew name Sarah, meaning princess or noblewoman.
